Minutes of Rollingwood Women's Club Wine & Cheese Date: Tuesday, September 19, 2023 Location: Gigi Shaukat Residence, 3229 Park Hills Dr Attendance: The event was well attended, with newcomers arriving at 6 PM and all other members arriving at 7 PM. There were over 90 RSVPs, and quite a few other members showed up without RSVPing. The addition of preprinted name tags and many members pre-paying made the check-in process much smoother this year. For next year, pushing even more for RSVPs and pre-payment would be recommended. Board and Committee Members in attendance: - Pari Schacht (President) - Emily Nolan (Membership) - Marnie Fitzgerald (Co-Programs Director) - Courtney Harvey (Treasurer) - Amy Rung (Secretary) - Jessica Sandate (Hospitality) - Maggie Broglio (Hospitality) - Macey Delcambre (Special Events Coordinator) - Bunny Michel (Social Media) - Laura Michael (Marketing) - Malini Rajput (Playdates) - Rachel Tys (Socials) - Emily Burns (Fundraising) - Jami Bonyun (Easter Eggstravaganza) Meeting Proceedings: 1. Opening and Introductions: The meeting was called to order by President Pari Schacht at approximately 8 PM. She welcomed all attendees and introduced the board members for the 2023-24 term. Pari then thanked past RWC President, Marnie Fitzgerald, for her many years of leadership. A quick game was played, where attendees raised their hands to indicate how long they've lived in Rollingwood. New members were then invited to introduce themselves. 2. Program Schedule Overview: Marnie provided an overview of the 2023-2024 Rollingwood Women's Club Season Schedule. 3. RWC Mission and Community Improvement Ideas: Pari discussed the RWC mission and encouraged members to think of ideas to make the community even better. 4. Playdates Discussion: Malini discussed playdates, providing insights and updates. 5. Thank you extended to Gigi for hosting. Adjournment: The meeting concluded at 8:21 PM.
